Air Strip

Our airstrip is right behind the lodge meaning no additional floatplane rides, bus rides, or bumpy boat rides after you land. Your private Reindeer Lake Lodge charter airplane will land on our beautiful, remote & secluded private island and you’ll literally be steps away from the camp. We’ll be waiting to welcome you and take your luggage to your private cabin.

Transport Canada Approved GPS Instrument Approaches

Reindeer Lake Lodge was one of the very first fishing lodges in the north to install a Transport Canada approved GPS instrument approach. This allows pilots to land and take off in poor weather conditions just like the big city airports. It greatly improves the safety factor for our guests along with fewer delays due to bad weather - unlike other lodges that don't have an instrument approach.
